BURNOUT

Are you finding yourself feeling physically and mentally exhausted, struggle to relax, and find yourself struggling to feel excited about the day?

Burnout feels like you are running on empty, often bringing feelings of exhaustion and feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities. It can cause feelings of fatigue, frustration, sleep disturbances, headaches, mood changes, and a loss of motivation. Burnout is usually a result of prolonged stress, overwork, or an imbalance between personal and professional (and/or educational) life. Burnout can affect anyone.

Navigating the delicate balance between work and life can be a significant challenge and is commonly experienced by many people. Understanding its signs and learning effective coping strategies are important steps toward restoring balance in your life. Burnout is often your body’s signal to take a break and prioritize your well-being. Establishing healthy boundaries, prioritizing rest, and developing recovery strategies are important, and therapy can provide guidance and support on the journey toward renewed balance.
